The Kent is our most affordable chicken coop and provides enough room for 4 to 5 medium-sized hens.

The Kent Coop is our most affordable model and is made from the same durable wood we use in our other popular chicken houses. With over 6 square feet of internal space, this coop provides you with enough room for 4 to 5 medium-sized hens.

The Kent coop has been designed to be easy to clean. It comes with a large rear slide-out tray, as well as a removable slatted floor in the nesting box.

Accessing all areas of the coop is also an important feature we wanted and so have added a lift up roof which is held in place by handy metal stays – which makes accessing, as well as cleaning the internal areas of the coop that much easier.

On both sides of the coop are 2 narrow ventilation windows situated just under the roof overlap. This allows for adequate ventilation without the worry of the coop becoming drafty. The housing area is also raised off the ground which will keep mud and dampness out of the hen house.

The front opening hinged door doubles as a little ramp for your hens and allows them to enter and exit the housing area. Inside they will find two large removeable perches on which to roost at night, as well as a cosy nesting box that has been divided into two compartments, where they can lay their eggs.
